Thank you Thomas J. Watson, from a Watson Girl

Hello!  Welcome to my blog!  My name is Margaret Shelton, and I am a harpist and a traveler.  Irish tinker is in my blood.  I just graduated from the University of Puget Sound, and received  a graduate Watson Fellowship from the Thomas J. Watson Foundation.  With sincere gratitude to the Watson foundation, I am spending 365 days traveling the world to discover the story of the harp in China, Germany, Denmark, France, Spain, Ireland, the U.K., and Paraguay.

Rosemary Ponnekanti wrote a lovely article in the Tacoma News Tribune, which will give you a little more background as to what I am planning to do!

I want to share pictures and stories with you, but that may not be terribly often.  Still, check back when you can, and if you have the chance, write to me and keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks and love,
Margie
